With over three decades in the Corporate Security Industry, Sean is a true security aficionado and has been recognized globally for his industry achievements. Sean joined GardaWorld in March 2021 where is currently the Vice President, National Accounts & Community Engagement for Canada and prior to that he spent 15 years leading Circle K’s Central Canada Loss Prevention Department, while also providing support to their Western Canada Business Unit.Â

Sean graduated from the Seneca College Law Enforcement Program with Honours and holds two separate certificates on Leadership and Management from Queens University. He has attained certifications as a Crime Prevention Through Crime Prevention (CPTED) Level 2 Practitioner, Situation Awareness Specialist Advanced Practitioner and achieved the designation of International Crime Prevention Specialist. Sean is also a current associate member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and a member of the Ontario Gang Investigations Association.

A dedicated Community Safety Advocate, in 2002 Sean joined the Toronto Crime Stoppers volunteer Board of Directors, where he is currently the program’s Chair. In addition, he serves as the PresidentElect for the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners association, which provides crime prevention training on a global level. Expanding on his volunteer commitment, he answered the call to be part of the security organizing committee for the 2017 INVICTUS Games that were held in Toronto, Canada. Â

Sean’s innovative vision has been the focus of Harvard University’s School of Business which published two business reviews on his approach towards retail crime prevention.
As the Community Relations Manager at Kijiji Canada, Kent Sikstrom plays a vital role in championing the brand and serving as its spokesperson. His responsibilities involve establishing meaningful working relationships with a wide variety of organizations from different industries. Over the years, Kent and his team have built trusted and collaborative relationships with law enforcement agencies across Canada, with the ultimate goal of enhancing community safety.

Before his time at Kijiji, Kent served as a language teacher for the Canadian Armed Forces. Working in conjunction with the Toronto Military Family Resource Centre, Kent supervised a wide range of programs and services designed to help families adjust to their military lifestyle.
Mrs. Parker began working in the intelligence field in various military posts where she served as a Russian cryptologic linguist. After taking a break from the intelligence community to pursue teaching opportunities at the high school and college levels, and to work as an interpreter, she returned to intelligence work in 2014. After several years as an intelligence analyst and linguist at the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance in the US and in Canada, Karen now works for ECS Canada, where she collaborates with Canadian and international partners on various issues, including contraband tobacco. In addition to her work on contraband tobacco, Karen provides analytical and language support to other projects and conducts training for partners and outside agencies in Canada and abroad.
Spent over 25 years in law enforcement specializing in organized crime with the Quebec Provincial Police where he oversaw drug and contraband tobacco enforcement operations. He is a recipient of the Governor General of Canada’s Police Exemplary Service Medal.

Now Manager of the illicit trade prevention department for Rothmans Benson and Hedges Canada where he contributed to the implementation of the first online monitoring program to prevent the growth of online illicit sales.
He is a recognized expert witness namely on, but not limited to drugs trafficking, drug importation and exportation, contraband tobacco and on how criminal organizations operate.

Often called upon by law enforcement agencies and prosecution services across the country he continues to provide training and information sessions on contraband tobacco and the link to organized crime.Â
Nick Ibbott is the founder of LEAD Solutions Inc, an educational provider of quality training for law enforcement and investigative agencies. LEADS fill the gap in training that continues to grow as the use of emerging technologies by subjects becomes more prevalent.

Nick is a retired police detective with over 30 years of experience focused on tackling organized criminal activities in our communities.

Nick’s investigative abilities were sharped in the Criminal Investigative Bureaus, Special Services Unit, and the Drugs and Vice Unit. His set of skills were utilized in undercover operations, surveillance, and wire taps that resulted in significant arrests and seizure of drugs.

Nick completed his duties as one of the officers in charge of the Cybercrime and Technical Data Recovery Unit. Nick assisted in forging that service’s policies, procedures and practices in many fields including online investigations, data recovery, undercover operations, search warrant drafting and execution, surveillance, and investigative techniques.

Over his policing career, Nick had become a subject matter expert in many areas of law enforcement that dealt with both virtual and real-world operational settings. He had provided training, lectured, and presented material to hundreds of members of law enforcement that enhanced their abilities in investigating crimes. He had testified in all levels of criminal and civil court and had been qualified as an expert witness on many occasions assisting the court in understanding alleged criminal offences.

In his post-policing endeavours, Nick is a professor at Seneca College and an instructor at the Ontario Police College with the Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Nick holds a Master of Science degree with first-class honours in the field of forensic computing and cybercrime investigations.
